Business Description
John Kamin enlisted in the United States Army in November of 2005. He served with the 3rd Infantry Division, and deployed to Iraq in 2007 for 15 months. After completing his active duty contract, John enrolled at Hofstra University and later transferred to American University in Washington DC. While at American, he was recalled out of the IRR and deployed to Iraq again with the Louisiana National Guard in 2010. Upon returning home, John resumed his studies at American University and was elected President of AU Vets in 2011. John graduated in 2012 and continued to support veterans as a Mission Continues Fellow and volunteer on SVA's National Leadership Council. Currently, John serves as the Program Manager for the National Veterans Center, which is powered by SVA, and as an Army Reservist with a Military Information Support Operations Group.
