Doug Kemper, Executive Director, has been in the zoo, aquarium, and museum profession for over 40 years. He has been Herpetarium Supervisor at the Oklahoma City Zoo, Curator of the New York Aquarium, founding Director of the Aquarium at Moody Gardens in Galveston, and founding Director of the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks/Tulsa Ok. Doug has also been consulted extensively in exhibit design and operations with many institutions including the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Seattle's Museum of Flight and the Pacific Science Center, and a number of zoological parks.
The Aquarium is a new and exciting supplement to biology and science curricula programs for Southwest Oklahoma's school kids and a compelling family activity and attraction for our entire region.
