Business Description
Being brought up by a father that built his own synthesizer organ from scratch, including making his own springs for the keys, Norm was always interested in electronic gadgets. When he was old enough he joined the Western Electric Explorer Scouts and built his first volt meter. During this time, in the early '80s, computers were in their infancy and Norm took a liking to them. At thirteen he started programming and marketing his own computer programs. In high school, he attended Berks Vo-Tech West, now known as Berks Career and Technology Center where he is now an advisory board member, for data processing. This three year coarse he completed in just over two years and went out on coop to a local computer store as a technician for the remainder of his senior year. After graduation he wrote aviation software for DASH Group for three years and traveled globally to support it. In March of 1988 Micro Air was born.
