Business Description
Lynne Church, a landscape designer, creates serene outdoor spaces that are interesting all four seasons of the year. Each respects the land, the house and, most importantly, the interests and desires of the client. Since many of her clients are working professionals with little time to maintain their landscapes, she specializes in creating gardens that require a minimum of upkeep during the year by relying primarily on trees and shrubs to provide structure. She also uses native plants where possible to provide habitat for animals, birds and insect pollinators. Her work ranges from small Capitol Hill gardens to two acre lots in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
After retiring from a legal career in 2005, she returned to school and obtained a graduate certificate in landscape design from George Washington University.
