Business Description
I'm Don and we opened Lone Star Spray Foam after I'd worked in the oil/gas industry for 9 years. Prior to that, I had retired from the US Navy after 20 years.
It has always been a dream for me to own my own business and not sit at a desk all day. When oil prices fell in 2015 and after a number of layoffs at my company I decided to exit the industry and start my own business.
Since starting business, we have vastly exceeded our own expectations. We've performed hundreds of project and met a lot of interesting people during our journey.
One of the most surprising things I've learned from customers is how hard it is to find a reputable and honest contracting company. I've lost count of the times customers have told me how they've dealt with companies that charge them for quotes, take a large chunk of money up front and then either don't complete their project to satisfaction or, worse yet, are never heard from again.
