Laurel Kinney is a personal stylist and founder of Trophy Boutique. She grew up in Maine, where she spent hundreds of snowy days reading fashion magazines, drawing, and dreaming up endless crazy outfits. She has a degree in psychology from Reed College and a master's in social work from Columbia University. After 10 years as a social worker, she yearned to combine her love of fashion with her people skills, and was fortunate to work with Michelle Rodriguez of Well Styled/The Paid Stylist who taught her the craft of wardrobe consulting in Austin. As a personal stylist, Laurel's approach is to always have the most fun possible while making her clients feel as best they can, paying careful attention to the psychological aspects of dressing. Notable clients include Amy of the Bobby Bones Show, Hilah of Hilah Cooking, and the Four Seasons Austin Hotel.
