Business Description
Santos' funeral service began in 1989 upon graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services. He began an apprenticeship at Guajardo Funeral Chapels and finished the experience at Rix Funeral Directors and Franklin Bartley Funeral Home. It was at Rix Funeral Directors where Santos had the privilege of learning the business from Whitney Rix Victory, owner & operator of the funeral home from May of 1990 through February of 2006. Bob Bartley was another funeral director that served as a mentor during Santos' tenure with the company. Santos served community families through Rix Funeral Directors & Franklin Bartley Funeral Home as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. In 1996, he was appointed assistant general manager. During his service at Rix, Santos received a Business Degree from Wayland Baptist University. He is currently licensed to practice the art of embalming and funeral directing. He is also a licensed agent in life, property, and casualty insurance in Texas.
