Business Description
Dr. Brandon is native to Haslett Michigan and originally earned a masters degree in teaching from Andrews University and taught for six years in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Realizing the importance of functional vision for reading, Dr. Brandon felt she could help even more people as an optometrist and went back to school graduating from the Michigan College of Optometry, Ferris State University. She worked for about 8 years in optometry and ophthalmology practices before opening her own practice in 1999. Dr. Brandon likes working with patients to meet their visual needs and in addition enjoys boating, gardening, baking, reading, and when she can find the time, knitting. She is also a mother of two and has been active in her church for several years. She is a member of the Michigan Optometeric Association and American Optometric Association and in 2010 was voted business person of the year by the Laingsburg Business Association for her work in the community.
