Business Description
Dr. Zylstra received his B.S. in Veterinary Science from Michigan State University in 1988 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1992. He grew up in Grandville, MI and graduated from Calvin Christian High School. During Veterinary school, he developed a passion for Cardiology and Ultrasonography, pursuing both areas of study after graduation through specialized continuing education classes. Dr. Zylstra has a love of learning and makes it his priority to stay up to date on current research, diagnostics, and treatments by attending annual continuing education conferences.
For 12 years, he practiced in a veterinary hospital in Kalamazoo that served the community with specialized care including emergency medicine, advanced surgeries, ultrasound referrals, and preventative care. Dr. Zylstra continues to receive ultrasound referrals from all over Michigan and Indiana.
