Business Description
I am an enrolled member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians and have been learning the ways of my tribal people most of my life. I have been carving pipestone and making pipes for over 20 years. My Regalia that I wear is special some of the beadwork was my grandpa's other parts were beaded by my wife. It is a classic example of traditional Ojibewa style 19th century beadwork and part of my heritage.
Teaching & Art Workshops:
I started Teaching, storytelling and sharing my tribal culture back in 1974 when I became the vise president of Oyata Ho Indian Club in Fremont CA. I started working just with our tribal youth but discovered people of all ages and walks of life were interested in learning about our tribal ways.
After working with the Oyata Ho Indian Club I discovered that many of our tribal people have lost their cultural identity and as a result we see many problems in our youth. It is important to help them discover who they are so that they may find the
