Business Description

Mike and Monica Carter took over management from Mom Evelyn and Aunt Kate along with long time owner/operator and friend Eleanor Jackson ran the camp for nearly 50 years. The bar and restaurant dream ended with the bike trail and bridge acquisition in the early 1990's. Mike, Evelyn's son and Monica began the Prairie creek weekend music festivals and ran the bar until 2000 when the bridge expansion and road widening project changed, well, everything. With the Love we have for the property we created another business and sold our home to keep Kate's Fish Camp in the Family. Today we are happy to host Rv campers, canoe and kaykers, adventurers and wildlife lovers. Please stop in and see why we love Kate's Fish Camp so much.
