Business Description
Dr. Barwick is a native of Kinston, NC. She graduated from Meredith College in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Biology and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1987 with a D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Barwick has been very active in organized dentistry throughout her career. Dr. Barwick started her practice in Graham in 1987. She has been practicing in her current location since 1995.
In 2010, Dr. Barwick, with the encouragement of several trusted colleagues, launched Dental Assistant Training Centers, Inc. which is a 12 week intensive training program to become a DA I (Dental Assistant I).
She is married and has two dogs and one cat. In her spare time, Dr. Karen enjoys being with her family, caring for her animals, exercising, organizing and traveling .
