Business Description
Charlotte holds a Bachelors of Science in Animal Management with a special interest in behavior (University of Essex, England), and is a certified dog obedience instructor. She only promotes the use of proven, scientific methods based on positive reinforcement to successfully guide dogs and their owners through training goals.
Charlotte is an accredited American Kennel Club Good Citizen evaluator and frequently appears in various publications advocating responsible pet ownership. When not working with clients, Charlotte competes with her own dogs in obedience, performance, and breed competitions.
As a professional trainer and behaviorist, it is her job to teach owners how to teach their dogs. Humans learn about how to manage environments, how to break down and teach commands, and how to generalize training for a well rounded dog. Dogs may learn how to redirect unwanted behaviors, impulse control, obedience and manners, as well as adaptation and coping skills for a happier dog!
