Business Description
My name is Jonte' Griggs and I have been cooking since I can remember. My mother and grandmother welcomed me in the kitchen at an early age. When all the other kids where outside playing I chose to be at their side mixing away. I learned early that baking from scratch was the way of life. Now as an adult I have learned how to put my own spin on some old classics and it's music to my ears to have my grandmother's approval on my very own recipes.
I attended Johnson C Smith for my BA in Marketing but I was known for my hot plates. I found my way back to Charleston SC where I met my wonderful husband who saw my passion for food and convinced me that I should take a leap of faith and start my own business. We have two wonderful little girls and I have a blast passing on the same memories that I remember with my mother and grandmother with my little girls. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and every time I cook, I do so with all of my heart.
