Sixteen years ago Geri moved to Key West from upstate New York where she was a banquet chef and caterer. For six years in Key West she taught yoga & ran "A Piece of Cake," a wedding business which offered her services as a wedding officiate & pastry chef, specializing in decadent butter cakes, embellished with fresh buttercreams, & decorated with fresh flowers.
In 2008 "A Piece of Cake" morphed into "I Do! Weddings Key West," which provides officiate services for weddings, commitments, & vow renewals, as well as easy wedding packages that include professional photography, flowers, champagne, & cake.
In addition to owning "I Do! Weddings Key West," Geri has spent the last 6 years working as a professional concierge and innkeeper for The Mermaid & The Alligator Bed & Breakfast.
