Business Description
Dr. Williams was born in Chievres, Belgium, raised in Williamsburg, and moved to Richmond in 1989 and considers it home. He received degrees in Biology and in Psychology from VCU, followed by a Master's degree in Biology. He attended VA/MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, receiving his Doctorate in 2006.
Dr. Williams considers himself an educator at heart. He was active in laboratory research throughout his education, and his efforts were recognized during his undergraduate and graduate studies with several merit based awards. Dr. Williams enjoys any opportunity to mentor, and he finds great promise in the young and inspired students of science.
Dr. Williams is active in the AVMA, the VVMA, and the IVAPM. Dr. Williams always has great interest in challenging surgical cases, but advancing and promoting pain management in animals a calling. He believes that all pets should have the opportunity to age pain-free, with dignity and grace.
