Business Description
Dr. Sherrock (Shamrock, Sherlock, Schreck...) grew up building fence, pulling weeds and baling hay in the Williamsville area. She graduated from the University of Illinois vet school a long time ago. After several years in shelter and emergency/referral medicine, Heidi has relished the last few years of general practice and enjoyed becoming a part of the family of many of her patients and their guardians. She is thankful and blessed to steward Hope Veterinary Care with her dedicated staff of squirrel chasers and for the opportunity to help those in the community. Heidi has two grown human sons, Clay and Kenyon and 5 fur children. Each of four variably aged cats each has a story: Thomas, Emily, Orange and Black, who consider her their personal pillow and heat source. And, a pygmy goat, Gilly, who was paralyzed shortly after birth. Additionally, Dr. Sherrock works with various ministries in the Springfield area giving hope to others...children, the elderly, homeless, whomever is in need.
