Located in Frostburg, Maryland, the Hen House Restaurant is a seafood and steakhouse that has been serving customers for over four decades. Founded in 1961 by Buck and Ginny Warn, the restaurant started as a small cement addition on the side of their house that could only accommodate nine guests. Today, the Hen House is the largest seafood restaurant west of Frederick, with seating for over 400 guests.

Despite its poultry-themed name, the Hen House is renowned for its fresh seafood and quality steaks. Live crabs are delivered daily, and guests can enjoy a variety of seafood options, including fish, scallops, shrimp, clams, lobster, crab legs, and soft-shell crabs. For steak lovers, the restaurant offers a selection of steak options that can be cooked to order. The Hen House also features a large charcoal pit that is used to prepare delicious barbecue ribs.

The Warn brothers, Gary and Bill, took over the restaurant from their parents in 1975, and through hard work and dedication, they were able to expand the business and increase the number of customers. In 1979, the brothers decided to look for a new location to accommodate the growing demand, and they found their present location along U.S. Route 40, which was previously the Colonial Inn built in 1929. Today, the family business continues to thrive in its Old National Pike location, commonly referred to as Long Stretch, in Garrett County.
