Business Description
I was born an artist, but aren't we all? Creating and teaching others has been a way of life. Art always played a prominent role in my life. When adults asked the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Among the many answers of an astronaut, doctor, teacher - artist was always in there as well, remaining a constant. When I started college at Tidewater Community College I was on a Fine Art track and transferred over to University of Maryland where I studied painting. I had one teacher that told me never to stop painting and those words stay with me to this day. After a year at Maryland I thought was it silly to waste so much money on out of state tuition and there was a perfectly fine school in Virginia - Virginia Commonwealth University - where I transferred to from Maryland. I graduated with an BA in Art Education and moved back to Virginia Beach but decided to pursue Graphic Design at TCC Visual Arts Center. I was a designer for many different ad agencies up until 2010.
