Business Description

I've been training dogs ever since I adopted my first rescue dog almost a decade ago, but I really began to pursue it seriously as a career when my own dog Regis started displaying worrying signs of aggression toward other dogs on leash. Since I wasn't aware of any trainers nearby who could help me with this issue in a humane, force free way, I had to learn on my own how to modify his behavior using behavioral science. Since then, I have been actively volunteering my time at local shelters, and began teaching group dog classes through Root Dog Training in Highwood, IL.
