Shawn, the owner, was a farrier by trade. He became interested in forging in 1996 as a senior pre-vet, animal science production major at Clemson University. He has been bladesmithing since 2012 and has been doing more artistic blacksmithing which you can see on display at the restaurant. This information explains some of the unique names you will find on our menu. As long-time food junkie, when the little voice said to get out from under a horse and feed the people by preparing unique food, I did what I was told. Coming from Italian descent whose great-grandparents owned two diners in Buffalo, NY and a mother, a Lt. Col. in the Army, who did not ask how I was doing, but have I eaten explains a lot.
