Business Description
Having graduated Cornell with a B.S. in animal science, I then attended the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell and graduated in 1978. After graduation, I worked briefly at the Riverhead Animal Hospital, before assuming the directorship of the newly formed Nassau Animal Emergency Clinic in Westbury where I remained until the end of 1984. In April of 1982, Fort Salonga Animal Hospital was founded. I opened Fire Island Vets a seasonal summer housecall practice in April 2006 and founded Fire Island Animal Rescue in 2011. Presently we have Phantom the French Bulldog and an undetermined number of rescued cats.
