George Ferguson never outgrew his childhood love and obsession with bicycles. George restored his first bicycle a 1970 Green Schwinn varsity in 1980. His first bike shop job was at Barney's Bicycles in Worchester, Mass in 1986. He had a career in film and video production and earned an MFA in filmmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Even in film school his fascination with bicycles was never abandoned and he created a Documentary film about Bicycle Collectors as this Graduate Film Thesis. George has learned his craft through many apprenticeships from multiple master mechanics. George brings the rare skill and craft of museum quality high-end Vintage Bicycle Restoration to his shop.
