Business Description
Tobi is passionate about good food and eating healthy. To become an expert in nutrition she earned her Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Nutrition from California State University, Fresno. Tobi completed a dietetic internship with a small cohort in the highly competitive Mid-Willamette Valley Dietetic Internship program. She completed a Master's degree from Portland State University's school of Education.
After graduating with honors, Tobi immediately started working with at-risk youth in the Portland area teaching nutrition and physical activity with the Oregon State University Extension Service. She now runs a private nutrition counseling practice in Lake Oswego. In addition to teaching adult nutrition classes, she teaches pediatric weight management classes for Providence.
Tobi applies her healthy philosophy to her own life. Although she is very busy she makes family mealtime a priority in her home. On weekends she enjoys shopping at Farmer's Markets and hiking in the Gorge.
