Business Description
A passion for economic development, job creation and helping people achieve their dreams underlies the distinguished career of Jeff Imbrescia, CEO/President of Douglas Education Center. Through the years, he has provided education to thousands of residents in the Mon Valley as well as throughout the United States and abroad. His mission has been to provide a solid education to enrich the lives of those who otherwise may not have had the opportunities to do so. Since purchasing the school, Jeff and his team have implemented unique destination programs that have helped to put Monessen on the map. Jeff's passion for the community has compelled him to use DEC as a catalyst to revitalize downtown Monessen. Over the years, Jeff has been involved in numerous community organizations. Jeff is currently a member of the Mon-Vale Resources, Inc. Board of Trustees. Prior to purchasing DEC, Jeff had a successful career at Consol Energy, a subsidiary of DuPont and Conoco.
