Business Description
Abby Jochnowitz, principal of DesignAnts LLC, has been in the design field for over 30 years. In 1982 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design, from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Creative opportunities opened up in New York City to work for a variety of design firms. A partial list includes work as a product/packaging designer, in structural and graphics, retail and corporate interiors, including commercial environments, corporate identity, visual merchandising, prototype development, signage, POP displays and space planning. Her work expanded to include large department stores focusing on high-end shops within the store environment.In early 2000 she started to focus on residential environments. Relocating to New Jersey, obtaining a license and becoming a New Jersey Certified Interior Designer. By creating DesignAnts in 2002 Abby Jochnowitz continues to develop the business within the New Jersey, New York area.
