Business Description

Brian and Robin DerMiner are certainly no strangers to Gaylord. Brian has enjoyed summers up here since he was a boy, and they were married on the shores of Otsego Lake in 2004. Prior to moving to Gaylord, they raised their four children in Central Florida. Once all were grown, Brian and Robin signed on to work as Civilian Contractors for the United States Army in Afghanistan. While preparing for the end of Robin's second & Brian's third contract there, they learned that the Parkside Party Store was for sale. It took nine months to renovate, and DerMiners Parkside Market opened in May 2013. Two months later, they learned of four beautiful two-bedroom cabins located on Otsego Lake that were for sale. Recognizing the beauty of the property, they purchased them without hesitation and named it DerMiner's Parkside Resort. They enjoy serving the residents and visitor alike of beautiful Northern Michigan and have made many new friends in the process. Please stop by and say hello.
