Business Description
Dean Thomas started working on cars out of his parents' garage when he was 14 years old. At the time, it wasn't a job, it was a hobby. After high school Thomas graduated from the IHCC Auto Body and Mechanics program. He began working at a garage in Centerville; Thomas said he saw a need for more choices in town.
"I worked at a shop that I thought was doing things incorrectly," said Thomas. "I just didn't really like the way things were going at the other place, so I quit and started my own."
In the beginning, it was just Thomas and his wife, Stacy.
"When we first started she helped me a lot," said Thomas. "She wasn't afraid to get in there and wet-sand a car. She spent a lot of late nights with me working. My wife was a big asset to the business.
