Business Description

When I was 14, I got my first job working in the restaurant business as a dishwasher, busboy, waiter, bartender and then Maitre'd. I eventually opened up my first restaurant, which I owned and operated from 20 to 25 years old. As fate would have it, a real estate developer intrigued with such a young entrepreneur was the first customer in the door the day I opened on September 17, 1984...and the rest is as they say, history.

I sold the restaurant in December of 1989, and asked Harvey for a job in real estate, that I had to try something other than food service, and he gave me a job as the receptionist for the office. About three months into the new job, I was trained for the sales side of the business.

Shortly thereafter I got my real estate sales license, and was moved to Sacramento to work on a high end custom lot and home subdivision in El Dorado hills. For the next 5 years I worked on two more huge condominium development projects in San Jose and Albany.
