Business Description
John graduated in 1987 with a BA in Design from Brigham Young University. Shortly after he began his career as a Broadcast Designer at KSL Television and in 1992 became the Creative Director for WordPerfect Studios. In 1996 he became the owner of Creative Media Group, Inc.
As a Director/Producer/Cinematographer he has earned 17 Telly awards and has directed, produced, and shot in 14 countries and throughout much of America. His work has been used in various national prime time productions and motion pictures.
In 2010 John documented a 20 day trek and adventure from Kathmandu, Nepal to Base camp Mount Everest, shooting at an elevation of 19,000 feet. Since then, he has been very heavily involved in Humanitarian efforts to build a seven-room hospital within one of the poorest areas of Nepal and the world. John also serves on the UVU Digital Media Digital Cinema Board of Advisers.
