Business Description
Original from Lima, Peru, I began my Karate training in 1979 under the tutelage of Sensei Luis Chiock - a member of the Peruvian National Karate team as a competitor in the early 1970's and as their coach in the 1980's.
I also came to integrate the Peruvian National Karate team in the early 1990's, and after emigrating to the United States and becoming a US Citizen, I came to integrate the US National Karate Team in 2007.
I began to assist my instructor teaching Karate when I was just 12 years old, and have continued doing so ever since.
In the mean time, I earned a BS degree in Computer Science and a MS in Computer Information Systems, working in the technology sector for many years. However, my passion lies in teaching the Art and Discipline of Karate, so after much soul searching, I set aside my career in technology to dedicate myself fully to Colorado Karate Club, and our student family, and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made.
