Business Description
Dr. Damian Efta, Pastor, graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the USMC. After four years in the Marines as an Infantry Officer he resigned his commission and returned to study theology at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. He graduated with a Master's degree in New Testament Theology in December of 1989. In February of 1991 the Efta's became SEND International's first missionaries into the former Soviet Block. They served in Poland until April of 1999 when he accepted a call to the pastorate of Church of the Open Door. In May of 2004, Pastor Efta completed a Doctor of Theology Degree. His dissertation was an exegetical commentary on the book of Titus. In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Efta travels extensively to closed countries to help develop church leaders. He is married to Jennifer, and they have four children, Briana, Hannah, Caleb and Muriel.
