Business Description

I have owned the business in Milledgeville in since 1970.

It started out as a restoration shop and Chevy parts store, dealing in 1933-1957 Chevy parts.

I couldn't find good Chevy reproduction parts for the 1933-40 Chevies, so I started to manufacture them. Began with plastic and rubber molds for wax patterns to be cast in the lost wax method. Die casting was just too expensive.

Then added petro-bond and plaster casting.

A fire in 2001 destroyed the main shop & all equipment for making parts, except the spin casting equipment.

Took a few months to get back to making parts again, but slowly it has come back in different directions.

The big difference is that I no longer do investment casting as it involves to much energy and supplies.
