Business Description
Dr. Mark Cannon studied in Biology and Psychology at Indiana University, and later became an optometrist when got his Doctorate at Indiana University School of Optometry. He then completed several external rotations focused on ocular disease, contact lens fitting, and pediatrics. He worked as the staff optometrist in a busy medical ophthalmology clinic in Kirkland, WA for over a year. He also worked in a Lasik Vision Correction practice, doing pre-ops and managing Lasik & Other laser eye surgeries. Mark has volunteered his time on two trips to Mexico, giving eye exams to under-served populations. As a perk, he learned optometric Spanish on these optometry mission trips. Now Mark practices full scope-optometry, including contact lens fits, dry eye, & glaucoma management. Many patients also get connected to ophthalmologists for Lasik or cataract surgery.
In his free time Dr. Cannon enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife and business partner Dr. Miranda Cannon and their daughters
