Business Description
Dr. Gil was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Following graduation from medical school, she moved to Orlando in 1987 where she completed her residency in pediatrics in 1990. Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she was a well-known and respected peditrician until 2005 when she became interested in aesthetics. Switching gears she has practiced aesthetics since then. Because so many of her patients, both adolescents in her pediatric practice and patients in her aesthetic practice, needed help with their weight, Dr. Gil received advanced training in bariatrics, the field of medicine specializing in weight management. Dr. Gil is now a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, but continues to divide her time between aesthetics and weight management. She herself has lost 40 pounds in 12 weeks on the program.
