Business Description
Steve competed as a member of the Butler High School Team. He pursued his competitive gymnastics career after high school at Slippery Rock State College (now Slippery Rock University), where he was a four-year letterman and captain of his team.
He earned the Outstanding Athlete of America Honors (All-American). His coaches and mentors included well-known gymnastic talents such as Bud Williams, Paul Uram, Dave McKinnis, and Steve Banjack.
After graduating from Slippery Rock with a Baccalaureate degree in Secondary Education, he continued his education by earning a Masters Degree in Secondary Education.
Steve began his coaching career at Butler Senior High School where he coached both the boys and girls gymnastics teams. During his 5-year tenure, Steve coached the girls gymnastics teams. During his 5-year tenure, Steve coached the girls gymnastics team to an unprecedented record of 54-2 !
This record stands as thethe best winning percentage overall of any sport at Butler High School.
