Business Description
Jake Brazil graduated from San Francisco State University (SFSU) with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and a Concentration in Management. He was a member of the baseball team during his tenure at SFSU.
While completing his education, he interned with Pavex Construction, a construction division of Graniterock. This internship helped build estimating skills and experience in reading plans and calculating materials.
After graduation he worked with several union and non-union General Building contractors throughout the area. He completed large custom remodels and also commercial tenant improvement projects as a carpenter.
In 2003, he returned to Pavex Construction full time, as a takeoff engineer. During that time he was involved in landing two of the larger projects for Pavex, totaling over $50 million. As the two projects commenced they promoted him out into the field as a project engineer and part of the management team.
