She is married to Rob Bess, who is a high school teacher and former basketball coach at Symmes Valley High School. They have a son Riley, a daughter Kathryn, a poodle Quincy, Chihuahua mix Ellie, two cats June & Junior Grey and a rabbit Rosie.
