Business Description
Dawn has her BS in Accounting and an MBA. She spent decades working in the construction and nonprofit sectors in accounting and payroll. While from Colorado, since moving to TN some 20 + years ago, she is a strong advocate for animal welfare and humane practices, spay/neuter, and rescue. She believes that the most effective way to stop overpopulation and the suffering of unwanted, homeless animals is through spay/neuter. She always says "we cannot rescue ourselves out of the overpopulation problem". She also believes in the power of the human-animal bond and all owners (despite socio-economical or demographic barriers) should have access to high-quality pet care. Like her predecessor, she believes education is key to responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay/neuter. Her love and passion for animals is evident in her private life. She is active in rescue by working and supporting them as she can and continues to advocate for stronger animal welfare measures.
