Business Description
Heather Chase is the owner of The Local Grocer, Be Well Studios, and Table + Tonic. She is a certified clinical herbalist, certified holistic nutritional consultant, and Yoga Dance Instructor, She has been studying nutrition and herbal medicine since 1995 and has completed herbal apprenticeships with Corinne Martin (ME) and Susun Weed of The Wise Woman Center (NY). She received certification as a clinical herbalist in 2005 at The Southwest School of Botanical Medicine and received certification as a holistic nutritional consultant from the Global College of Natural Medicine (CA) in 2006.
Heather received certification as a YogaDance Instructor from Kripalu Yoga Center in 2009.
Heather also owns and operates Mountain Flower Farm, a permaculture farm with Russ Van Deursen, her partner. They grow vegetables, fruit, berries, herbs and flowers for the health food market, cafe, and restaurant.
