Business Description
Rick started remodeling homes in the San Francisco area in 1977, after buying an earthquake-era home in San Francisco that needed major work. "I didn't know anything about construction, so I read the Time Life series on Home Improvement cover to cover and became fascinated with how homes were constructed, and how to repair and remodel them." Over the next forty years, Rick would purchase more than 30 properties in the Bay Area, many of which he remodeled and "flipped." Throughout these years Rick also worked as a member of the San Francisco Police Department, attaining the rank of captain before retiring in 2005 to pursue building full time. Rick is licensed by the state of California as a general contractor, and continues to build and remodel homes, along with running the day to day operations of Bay Area Mold Pros. Rick personally performs every mold inspection for his company, and is available even after these inspections for advice and guidance for his current and former clients.
