For starters, Batter Up! has loaded fries, fried green tomatoes, fried dill pickles, and additional choices. For lunch, the restaurant has a meat and vegetable buffet in addition to its full menu. On Sundays, in addition to the full menu, Batter Up! also puts together some meat and veggie combos and specializes in homemade cobblers, banana pudding, and bread pudding. In addition, the restaurant has chicken and dressing and smoked chicken on Sundays.

Batter Up! has a rich history, with Dusti and Mike Dixon owning and operating “City Limits” restaurant in this location beginning in 2005, closing in 2010 after Mike passed away of colon cancer. In the subsequent years, Dusti Dixon leased the restaurant out to several businesses. In 2016, Dusti and Les Smith opened the restaurant under the name of “Batter Up!” after marrying in 2012. The restaurant was named in memory of Mike Dixon, his love of softball, and the specialty batter used on many fried favorites. After opening the restaurant, a catering company was formed under the name “Cater Up!” to compliment the restaurant. The business offers a trio of services to include restaurant, rental space for events, and catering. In addition, the restaurant delivers lunches to local businesses and factories that need specialized lunches delivered for meetings, etc. Batter Up! is a proud sponsor of our local police and fire departments along with local schools.
