Business Description
Good day, my name is Dave Barnes. I am the President and lead Tax Accountant at Barnes Tax Associates. With over 25 years of experience, I specialize in all aspects of federal tax return preparation including, but not limited to, Personal, Corporate, Partnership, Estate and Inheritance Tax returns. I am also an attorney, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New York.
I am a native of Pittsburgh and graduated in 1988 from Duquesne University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. In 1991 I graduated from The Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. From 1991 - 2004, I opened and operated my own Tax and Law Office in Buffalo, NY, which remained opened until 2004.
In 2000, I returned to work in Pittsburgh and merged my tax practice with Timothy Harris & Associates, located in Bellevue, PA. Later, in 2004, I again merged our office with David Shaw, P.A and am now record holder to all previous files of Mr. Harris and Mr. Shaw.
