Business Description
Our founder and owner, John Kolbrich, has had a strong passion for music since he was a young student of music himself. John grew up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and was surrounded by music all his life. His parents, John and Paula had a love for music and constantly played music on the old stereo. They encouraged John and his older sister Erika to study music at very young ages. John started taking private lessons on accordion at age 7 and then picked up trumpet and piano several years later. John got the bug to be on stage and perform when he was about 9. By high school, music was John's life.
John continued his studies in music on his own while attending De Vry University in Toronto studying Electronic Engineering. John studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and also with well known trumpet teacher, Rainer Schmidt. Rainer was a big influence in John's musical life.
John and his family have been Avalon Park residents for just over 10 years.
