Business Description

A Colorado native, Steve married while earning his B.A. in Scientific and Technical photography at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. He opened Avalon Portrait Gallery after having done years of scientific and medical photography for the Air Force and Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton Ohio, and for Chico and Sacramento ophthalmologists and retina specialists.

Steve specializes in "people pictures". He does very little commercial or advertising work, but is at the top of his market in artistic portrait work and cinematic wedding work. Steve has assembled a staff of dedicated artists who use cameras and computers to create works of art that celebrates families and the ties that bind them together.
