"My grandmother told me when I was a child that she would never date a man that didn't know how to dance. She believed men who knew how to dance were decent people. 'Only good guys know how to dance!' was what she said. That was my introduction to the world of dance! It wasn't until a couple of decades later that I followed my grandmother's advice. Joining the Arthur Murray Dance Center in New Britain was meant to be a brief hobby while I completed college courses. Instead, that fateful September day introduced me to my future career, dance partner and wife! While I have an obvious love of dance, it is doing something that really impacts people and being in a really positive environment that gave me the courage to choose dance and Arthur Murray as my full time career. In 2003 I purchased and took over an independent dance studio in Glastonbury and opened up an Arthur Murray franchise. As the Arthur Murray motto goes: teaching the world to dance one step at a time!
