Art & Glass Studio is the work of local artist Law Sedory. His work is influenced by the Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Craftsman, and Prairie School styles, among others. Law studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and holds degrees in both Fine and Graphic arts. He has done restoration work on Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the area and continues to hone his crafts along with learning new ones, such as blacksmithing. A broad range of design styles executed in painting, drawing, pottery work, glass, and more, culminate in the Studio's output. He also possesses a great love of nature which can not only be found in much of the work, but dedication to conserving our natural resources are practiced in the studio through strict recycling practices and use of materials.
Stained glass window design & installation, repair & restoration for home, business, and liturgical is the main focus of A&G. On the side, I make hand-pressed ceramic art tiles and address tiles, fused glass dishware, handmade kaleidoscopes, and various other pieces of artwork that enhance home design. I also have a small cache of acquired antique windows for sale. HOURS: Please call or email me for an appointment. Due to on-site repairs and supply runs, I am unable to be in at all hours for customers to drop by.
