Originally from Alabama, Dr. Austin moved to Ohio to pursue her dream of being a veterinarian. There she attended The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2012. Soon after, she traveled to Washington State where she planted roots and started a family along with her career as a veterinarian. She now resides in Covington, WA. along with her husband, Jesse, her four year old daughter ,Charlotte, her dog, Oscar, and two cats Gidget and Now Now. In July 2019 she accomplished her life long dream of owning her own veterinary practice. She is now the sole owner and doctor at Animal Hospital of Maple Valley, where she treats cats and dogs 6 days a week. Dr Austin is one of the most caring and personable doctors you'll come across. She will always make sure her patients are very well taken care of while treating both pets and clients like family.
