The lodge is the loving creation of Arvid and Vicki Anderson. Arvid built the lodge with his Swedish background in mind, with each log bleached and flattened by hand. The large fir beams for the lodge were sourced from the property. The end result was a unique lodge, full of Scandinavian influence.

Thirty years later, the lodge has blossomed into two lodges welcoming thousands of guests each year. Cabins have been added and Arvid has built some amazing rock patios for dining. When you see them, think of Arvid carrying each rock and placing it on the wall.
