Anderson Farms has a rich history that dates back to 1911 when the Anderson family began farming in Southwest Weld County. For three generations, the Andersons grew corn, wheat, sugar beets, barley, alfalfa, and raised cattle. In 1997, Jim Anderson decided to shift his focus to a pumpkin patch and, in 1999, a corn maze was added. Terror in the Corn was added in 2001. Jim's cousin Peggy joined the business in 2002, and each year the farm continued to grow. In 2007, Peggy moved on and Jim's daughter and son-in-law Rachelle and Michael joined the business as operations manager and site manager.

The amenities are plentiful, particularly if you do have kids with you. Incredibly organized and well-run operation. Lots of fun activities, and good food and drinks available too.”
Another reviewer said, “My girlfriend and I celebrate our anniversary here every year. This is the coolest Halloween place in the state. The Fall Festival is like the North Pole of Halloween. The corn maze is challenging, and the Terror in the Corn is one of the best haunted attractions I've ever experienced.”
